The TOP air heater achieves particularly high outputs and long throw distances. With the wide range of variants and a wide range of accessories, we can find the right configuration for every application. Installation can be on the wall or ceiling.öü

Central ventilation and decentralized tempering

The TOP air heater is particularly energy-efficient as a component in a hybrid system. While the TOP provides decentralized tempering, a small-sized air handling unit provides centralized ventilation with outdoor air and heat recovery. This saves operating costs because all components operate only when demand is detected.ääüüßäü

For wall or ceiling installation, five unit sizes are available with different output ranges. üüöß

Mounting options

The TOP air heater can be used with ceiling installation in halls up to 82ft high . Wall mounting is also possible.ö

Heating in low-temperature and heat pump operation

You can operate the TOP air heater at low temperature; this saves energy costs and reduces CO₂ emissions. The air heater can be used with all water-based heating systems, such as local or district heating, for example. ößä

Technical features

Energy-efficient EC fan

  • Continuously controllable EC motor for the fan
  • Particularly energy-efficient and extremely quiet
  • The fan runs at exactly the output the hall needs, not a watt too much and not a decibel more than necessary.

Cooling with the TOP air heater

  • With a reversible heat pump, the TOP can also be used for cooling.
  • Ideal for new construction and existing buildings (prerequisite: use of existing piping systems)
  • No additional infrastructure required
  • Pleasant dry cooling without condensate formation
  • Heating and cooling with one unit – usable year-roundäüüäüüää

Full motor protection

  • Motor protection guard as standard, screwed to the sickle-blade low-noise impeller fan
  • „Intelligent“ motor electronics detect any motor fault that may occur and automatically switch off the fan.äßäöää

Service switch

  • Optional add-on
  • Enables the shutdown of individual units in a switching group by isolating the voltage
  • Thermal contacts are bridged in advance and opened with a delay on the motor side, so that the other units in the group can continue operating without interruption.ößäüöäö

Life cycle assessment data (EPDs)

  • We assess the environmental impact of our products across their entire life cycle („cradle to cradle“) and publish the results transparently in our Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
  • These EPDs can be easily integrated into leading building certification systems such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED and are available in the download section.

High-quality sheet-steel housing

Equipped with a robust and corrosion-resistant housing made of galvanized sheet steel, the TOP air heater is the solution when you want to heat large spaces such as halls, warehouses, and workplaces in industry and commerce or, e.g. retail areas, economically.ääößääääö

Air guidance

The TOP air heater is equipped as standard with a single-row air deflection louver. Optionally, a double-row variant or other air distributors are available as accessories to optimize air distribution.

Air heaters effectively prevent heat accumulation in industrial halls. The KaMAX air outlet available as an accessory (Kampmann-Multi-Air-miX) ensures that thermal buoyancy and the formation of unwanted heat pockets under the ceiling are prevented in halls up to 82ft high. 

This ensures even air mixing, reduces heat buildup and minimizes energy losses.

The selected air outlet accessory is installed directly at the factory and delivered together with the air heater.äßöääöäüüäüäßääö
