Fan-assisted trench heating with EC technology and electrical element.
Overview
One width. One height. Three lengths – there‘s no need for more. Every trench has been optimised for efficiency and noise emission.
Katherm QE units meet the required safety guidelines and are CE and UL certified. The heat output characteristic curve and the safety functions, proportional to the control voltage, were measured taking into consideration the relevant standards.
We consider the environmental impact of our products over their entire life cycle - "cradle to cradle"! The results are Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). The EPDs can be easily submitted to all common building sustainability certification systems, such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED, and are available in the download area. The product is also registered in the DGNB Navigator building product platform.
ECM tangential fans enable easily controllable high heat output yet energy saving operation with ultra low noise levels – suitable for commercial and residential applications alike.
Integral control circuitry to enable continuously variable control via room thermostat or BMS. including 2-stage safety cut-out in the event of improper use. Certified to UL 2021 / CSA 22.2 No. 46

The grille of the Katherm QE prevents contact with the coil. It is factory-fitted and can only be removed with a tool.
