        basic unit

Kampmann Katherm HK trench heater, ready-to-install floor trench, either for installation in raised or screeded floors, convector-based for heating and cooling with tangential fan convection. Certified to UL 1995 and CSA C22.2#236. Trench chassis made of sendzimir galvanised sheet steel, coated in graphite gray on both sides. Height-adjustable on the sides using mounting aids, with impact sound insulation; features a sturdy height-adjustment mechanism with impact sound insulation, for secure mounting of the duct. With pre-punched openings for water supply and return as well as electrical connections, on the room side. Trench chassis prepared for condensate pump mounting kit. Segmented sheets serving as both finger protection for the tangential fan and a mounting frame for the filter fleece, air-guidance sheet, grate support, and cross-brace for reinforcing the duct. Center wall serving as both an air-guidance sheet and a mounting plate for the tangential fan.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. GWP (phase A1-A3), kg CO2 Äq.1,53E+02. Further calculations possible online.

        Heat exchanger

High-performance heat exchanger made of circular copper pipes with aluminum fins and a Eurokonus valve connection, coated in graphite gray. Features an anti-rotation device. Collector with integral bleed option.

        Condensate tray

Condensate tray has a flow-optimised design, for the simultaneous discharge of condensate and air guidance below the convector.

        Fan

Tangential fan with safety guard. Energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V input for continuously variable speed control with sound-optimised commutation electronics. Valve controlled via 24 V DC control contacts. All rotating parts have low-noise and maintenance-free bearings. Motor monitoring with internal fault processing.
Even flow through the convector, low power consumption for effective, energy-saving consumption, also sound-optimised for low sound values. Easily removable for cleaning and maintenance due to combined coupling/ball joint system with simultaneous acoustic decoupling. With sound-optimised commutation electronics Factory-wired ready for connection. Valve controlled via 24 V DC control contacts.

        Control

        24 V electromechanical control version
Factory-fitted and wired. Connection possibility for external signals for control of the fan (continuously variable) and actuators. Continuous speed control via an external 0-10 VDC signal. Motor monitoring with integral shutdown in case of faults.

        Grille

With frame insert profile, colour-coordinated to the grille. With protective installation cover and frame trim. With cover panels for connection areas. With double T-profile grille. Connections made of corrosion-proof steel springs with matching spacers.
